Who is STARability?

For four decades, STARability Foundation has been shining a light on abilities.

ONE OF SOUTHWEST FLORIDA'S LEADING NONPROFITS

Formed by a small community of caring parents, STARability has become one of Southwest Florida’s leading nonprofits. Today, the organization is opening a world of possibilities for hundreds of individuals ages 14 and older by offering a variety of inclusive programs focused on vocational training, continuing education, teamwork, social engagement and community involvement.

Our innovative and creative programs are designed to foster a sense of purpose, cultivate friendships and connections, and instill skill sets that build confidence. Additionally, programs offered on virtual platforms allow STARs to connect with one another and engage in meaningful classes, activities and workshops from anywhere.

THE CAPITAL CAMPAIGN FOR STARABILITY FOUNDATION

STARability is a source of hope, strength, and opportunity. Yet, as our waitlist grows, the lack of centralized resources has become a significant barrier.

Our campus will offer a uniquely integrated approach, centralizing services so participants can access everything they need under one roof, from continuing education and vocational training to health and wellness programs. This campaign is about more than building a facility; it’s about creating a permanent home, central hub and a welcoming, inclusive space for STARs and their families where they can feel valued and supported.
