The THRIVEability garden is a collaborative, multifaceted project among the City of Naples, River Park Community Center and STARability Foundation centered on revitalizing River Park’s 2,000-square-foot garden.
The garden serves as a vehicle to teach critical life skills to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are enrolled in STARability’s community-based programs. Participants work with STARability instructors, volunteers and community partners to maintain the garden.
Our mission is to provide therapeutic, recreational, inclusive and vocational experiences for STARability participants, the neighboring residents of River Park and the wider Naples community by keeping our gate open and our solar-powered lights charged.
