STARability Foundation believes that the world would be better if all people were valued, respected, embraced and included. Included in the games we play and the friends we make. Included in our schools, workplaces and communities.
On March 2, take action and join The Golisano Foundation, Best Buddies and Special Olympics for Spread the Word Inclusion 2022: Champions of Change. STARability and these other organizations see the effects of isolation and exclusion in our SWFL community. Social connection is critical to the well-being for the nearly 300 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities STARability serves.
Here are some ways to participate virtually throughout 2022:
- Encourage people to sign the pledge page online.
- Share your pledge on social media to invite others to join you and tag @GolisanoFdn and @PledgeToInclude on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and using #PledgeToInclude.
- Bring new ideas to your school or community on how to build a more inclusive future.
- Get involved in STARability through volunteering, socials and more.
