STARability Earns Platinum Seal from GuideStar

We are proud to announce that the STARability Foundation has received the Platinum Seal of Transparency from nonprofit information source GuideStar by Candid. GuideStar allows for seamless transparency with those we serve in the community and our donors, and a Platinum Seal only further solidifies that, says STARability Chief Philanthropy Officer Miriam Pereira.

The Platinum Seal adds another level of transparency,” Pereira says. “It means that we value the impact of our programs on our participants. We use the information that we report publicly to continue improving our programs so that our STARs can continue to learn and engage with the community.”

Platinum is the highest-level seal an organization can achieve through GuideStar, and it will help community members, GuideStar users, and other stakeholders find in-depth information about STARability’s mission, programs, and leadership. The new information is available to more than 200 charitable websites and applications that use GuideStar data, such as AmazonSmile, Facebook, and Network for Good.
