STARability Foundation, the growing Naples based nonprofit that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, recently relocated to a larger office to accommodate their expanding program offerings and increased membership enrollment. On December 11, 2018, they hosted a ribbon cutting and Open House to celebrate their new location: 5125 Castello Drive, Naples, FL 34103. Guests were given a tour of the 3,200 sq. ft. office, and a chance to meet the STARability board, staff, participants, and the diverse network of influential community members and organizations that sponsor and support the STARability programs.
The expanded facilities will include more offices for STARability staff, a larger multi-purpose room to accommodate their growing programs and services, a technology room for computer and employment readiness training, and ample parking.
“STARability has grown leaps and bounds in recent years, as news of our innovative programs and services have reached a much larger audience. Thanks to our new marketing initiatives more and more individuals and their families began to reach out to us to participate in our life transforming programs and resources that support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. While most of our programs are community-based, our rapidly growing membership is driving the need for more staff and resources that we can now better accommodate in this larger facility. We’d like to thank our sponsors and donors for their support in helping to make this move possible.” Says STARability Foundation’s Executive Director Karen Govern.
