STAR Store

STARability Foundation opened the STAR Store & Studio in 2019 to further support its mission as Collier County’s only privately funded nonprofit focused on enhancing the lives of people 14 and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The STAR Store & Studio is Southwest Florida’s most affordable upscale resale and artisan gift shop located in the Naples Design District.

In addition to benefiting STARability through the resale of upscale furniture and home décor, the store provides vocational training or paid employment to nearly 50 participants through the nurturing and inclusive environment of the STAR Studio.

STAR Studio

Here, all abilities come together to create beautiful and professional gifts such as hand-poured natural soy candles, beaded jewelry, illustrated cards and more. With each artisan product, the STARs are expressing themselves, learning a special craft and developing valuable skills that translate to their time in the community, at home and in other workplaces. Their products are sold at the STAR Store, online, to a growing number of retailers and community partners, and at numerous community events. Each vibrant item sparks joy as a meaningful gift, perfect souvenir or home accent.
